Acestia din urma sunt atomi instabili, produse toxice ale proceselor chimice din corp, care deterioreaza semnificativ celulele si tesuturile, oxidandu-le si provocand imbatranire accelerata, un sistem imunitar suprasolicitat si boli cronice (de inima, cancer, diabet, ateroscleroza, Alzheimer, Parkinson). Substantele care genereaza radicalii liberi se gasesc in alimentatia defectuoasa, in medicamente, in poluantii din aer si apa, in fumul de tigara, in pesticide.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vitaminele, mineralele si polifenolii utilizate de organism pentru a contracara acest stres oxidativ (ca vitaminele A, C, E, seleniul, manganul, betacarotenul, luteina sau licopenul) se numesc antioxidanti. Acesti compusi (care pot incetini sau chiar preveni deterioarea celulara, cred specialistii) se regasesc in numeroase alimente naturale sanatoase (mai jos ai o lista de 12 exemple, ordonate in functie de scorul ORAC), deci include-le in dieta ta de zi cu zi, pentru a ramane sanatoasa! Valoarea antioxidanta a alimentelor este masurata in unitati ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity). Cercetarile de laborator, pe oameni si animale arata ca extractul de frunze de anghinare poate contribui la:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>sanatatea<\/strong> <strong>inimii<\/strong> \u2013 are un efect de crestere a nivelului colesterolului \u201ebun\u201d\/HDL si de reducere a trigliceridelor, colesterolului \u201erau\u201d\/LDL si total (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/10758778\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2000<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22183827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2012<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/23543518\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2013<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22746542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2013<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/25758164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2015<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/28609140\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2018<\/a>), deoarece anghinarea contine luteolina (antioxidant care previne formarea colesterolului) si incurajeaza organismul sa proceseze colesterolul mai eficient;
